No contest-Frazier. I would take Joe for excitement over everyone but Dempsey.

Yeah, Frazier for me too. I actually find quite a few of Norton's fights overrated. I'm indifferent when it comes to the Ali trilogy, the Young fight or the late career fights with Cobb and Ledoux. Although I do really enjoy the Quarry and Holmes fights.

Even so, compare Frazier's fights with Ali, Quarry & Stander. Much more enjoyable IMO. Then of course, Frazier has quite a few other awesome fights.

Norton was in plenty of entertaining scraps, but not like Joe. Joe was ALWAYS in entertaining scraps.

Not even close. Frazier is one of the absolute most exciting fighters that ever lived - period.

Frazier. He was pure heart and excitement in his bouts.
Winning or losing, he was guaranteed entertainment.
A warrior in the ring, he could be killed in a bout but he would never give up.

Yes, in his own way, Norton pushed for action. I didn't want to belittle him. But Frazier added a dramatic element to his struggles, even when he lost. So I think he gave the best entertainment during his career.

Joe Frazier overall. But Norton’s fight with Holmes was excellent

Personally, I love that fight, but you r right. It was a bit of a let-down in light of FOTC and later Thrilla. Ali held Joe 142 times, so it was his fault. Still a lot of good action in the early and late rounds though. I enjoyed the fight immensely, though I am in agreement. One of Joe's slowest fights.

I believe Eddie Futch, in his frustration with Ali's holding tactics, resorted to counting. I have never counted, but the number does not seem improbable.

I remember first time I saw anything of the fight was like a 5 minute clip of it, and about 3.5 mins of that was Ali holding.
