Better Eurasian boxer Bivol vs GGG?

This right here. Either Bivol is feather fisted or he just doesn't have snap on his punches. GGG wins based on his power and Bivols jab isn't going to bother him.

 

GGG has accomplished a lot more, Bivol needs to beat Beterbiev to be the clear #1 in the division. Comparisons with Canelo are flawed because Bivol fought him at 175 in Bivol's prime while GGG fought him at 160 while already a little past his very best IMHO (168 in the rather meaningless third fight).

That being said, just going by eye test, Bivol definitely has some advantages in terms of technique over GGG.

 

Some qualities of GGG are also better than Bivols, chin, power, jab, punch selection and variety.

 

So I'm saying GGG and that's because he's a better package. He can fight on the front foot, the back foot, inside, brawl ... whatever you require. He goes to the body, the head, has an ATG jab, great footwork.

Bivol is tremendous at what he does which is control distance and pick the other guy to pieces with his clean straight combination punching. But he can't really go to war with the other guy or bust the other guy's liver or have the variety of shots that GGG has.

If the criteria is hit and dont be hit, then Bivol.
If the criteria is who is the better all round package, then Golovkin.

 

In terms of pure ability, Bivol for me and it’s not close. However GGG dominates in the power department and I’m also certain his chin is much better.

 

I won't say outboxed Jacobs, as Jacobs was the one coming on as the fight progressed.

 

People out here acting as if GGG isn’t skilled. His 300+ amateur record says otherwise. He’s more skilled than Bivol. Bouncing on your feet + moving hands up and down does not equal skill. I genuinely think dumb asses think movement is equivalent to skill, no it’s not. GGG had master timing, great punch variety, and was intelligent pressure fighting boxer-puncher

That said I rate Bivol for beating on big LHWs being a small LHW himself

 

GGG. Bivol has an athletic advantage but that's it.

 

Bivol is an excellent boxer, while GGGs skills are more subtle. Tough one.

i'd have to say GGG given his overall resume.
if bivol beats beterbiev then i'd entertain the idea of changing my mind

 

Bivol, GGG and Kostya Tszyu....man these are three of my favorites. GGG over Bivol due to resume and power. I won't even touch the other two...so I will call it a draw.

 

Their resumes are quite comparable.

 

Again, this forum showing skewed judgement, overrating GGG as always.
He is a solid technician and has an ATG jab but that is it. Bivol is more dynamic, fluid
and skilled, by far.
