Chisora beat Sam Sexton twice. Sexton is a better fighter than Harrison. Harrison was on the back of a victory which consisted of getting beaten up for 12 rounds against journeyman Michael Sprott and landing a lucky punch with a couple of seconds left. Sexton beat Rogan twice, who also has a win over Harrison.

So on paper it's not a better fight. It's not a better fight looking at the ability of both fighters. It's not a better fight no matter what way you look at it.

Dereck Chisora would easily beat Harrison. Fact is, neither of them deserve a title shot. Do you think Harrison is better than Chisora? It's a fight we could see very soon imo.

Chisora wasn't a known name until Wlad signed to fight him. I'm not trying to take anything away from him, but he was a nobody before this fight.

I agree with most people that he is taking the fight too soon. A little more seasoning wouldn't have been a bad thing. I applaud the guy for stepping up to the plate, though.

I agree, you can't knock what Wlad's done in the ring up to this point, he's been knocking out the ranked guys. He doesn't have a habit of fighting undeserving opponents, the Chisora fight is the exception to the rule. I just happen to think that on paper Wlad - Chisora is worse fight than Haye - Harrison.

Harrison is far more qualified than Chisora is. A much better opponent.

On paper I can give you that. AFraud had more wins and Gold medal but his track record wasn't really impressive. But in reality; no matter how long the fight lasts, it will be better then Haye/AFraud. And of course Povetkin and Haye are better then Chisora, at least at this stage of his career.

Any body else believe if Povetkin wins his team will think he's ready enough to allow him to fight Wlad. Pretty funny they hide Povetkin from Wlad for 3 years and jump at the chance to fight Haye. That says a lot about who's perceived as more dangerous and difficult

Haye vs Povetkin in my opinion without a doubt.....Two top fighters...
Chisora is not a top fighter...He is not in the same level as Wlad.....

Says a lot if Povetkin is willing to fight Haye and Haye is willing to fight Povetkin while neither wanted any part of the Klitschkos...................

Just remember, Haye walked away, not Wladimir. Haye walked away TWICE

Povetkin earned his mandatory status and walked away for fear of the drubbing he'd get against Wladimir.

    Ya, I agree.

Although until Haye v Povetkin is finalized, it seems sort of silly to ask what the better fight is, comparing one that is already set, against one that isn't.

Chisora is unbeaten and he's never been knocked out, until he fights Wlad that is.

Audley had some skill, but sadly no balls.

One fight is a mandatory defense & the other is a voluntary defense. Just another point the thread author chose to leave out.
