Chavez is, in my opinion, 3rd greatest fighter of the past 25 years. Trinidad is 18th. I agree - not even close.
On a p4p basis. Taking into account achievement (favouring achievement across multiple weight classes), H2H, ability and legacy. If I asked everybody in this thread that's replied, I bet 90%+ would put Chavez about Hagler and Hearns on a all-time p4p list, certainly above Hearns.
Sometimes we shouldn't worry too much about achievements and just watch the ****ers fight! If someone then cant tell that Chavez was a class above then............well I just don't know!
Yes, but even if we did go solely by achievements, it's Chavez by a mile then too. He wins clearly on both counts here, hence the futility of the question.
