Not really, I hold DLH higher than Chavez or Trinidad. So, I might not side with the mexicanos but I'm 100% behind my Chicano brothers.:good
Tito only had one good win at middle against Joppy that was his 3rd weight class. In Chavezs 3rd weight class he made 13title defenses in his first reign and 4 in his 2nd reign also went 32-2-1-28 kos at the JW limit and those losses were when he was way past his prime, everyone knows Chavez was past it when he fought Randall. Where as Tito was in his prime when he was dominated by Bhop. TiTOs record after moving up from JR middle was like 2-3atsch Dont get me wrong Tito was a great fighter but no where near Chavez.
Im a big Oscar fan too grew up in the same area and have met him several times. However back up all the Mexicano fighters too. I was going for Oscar over Chavez but that was like the first time ever going against Chavez. Had to go for the hometown guy. Even though most people in LA were going for Chavez.
Sorry if i repeat other posts I didn't read them i just voted. Who came up with this and why are some people really voting for Tito? Did the author really say it was close. Look I am a very big Tito fan, but it is JC Superstar by a HUGE margin. JCC is in the top 3 130 fighters of all time. He is top 15 or 20 Lightweight all time, and his in the top 5 or 10 @ 140 all time. I would put Tito in the top 15 (maybe 10 but that is stretching it) Welter all time, and top 5 @154 all time. I don't think he cracks the top 50 all time @ Middle. So how can we even compare the two?
