Based on what? I think Haney would've beaten that version of Chavez who got Taylor out of there late.

I love Haney but Chavez most likely puts him in hospital.

Chavez had a problem with slick fighters.

Taylor should of probably been fighting at lightweight anyway but didn't because he was in the same Duva camp with Whitaker.

Taylor outpoints Haney who is not going to discourage Meldrick, though Haneys career is far from done so this may be different after reflecting on his overall career once he's called it a day.

Meldrick Taylor is the better and more talented fighter IMO. Taylor's faster hands and workrate would have given him the edge over Haney.

Taylor.....Haney is getting overrated now i think, he,s good but he won,t beat Loma ( He reminds me of Pernell Whitaker, but he,s the poor man,s version of him )

Tbh, based on styles, Chavez would've lost to Loma (at 135). Crawford at 140, Spence at 147, and Shakur at 135 as well. Hell, I even think Davis vs Chavez is 50/50. Chavez was great but he had problems with slick black fighters, plus he never defeated a fighter as good as the guys I listed above.

    Taylor by mid round KO.

Taylor would shatter Haney’s glass jaw in the 5th or so round.

Hector Camacho, Edwin Rosario, and Meldrick Taylor.

Also the Chavez that destroyed Rosario would have pulverized Loma, Shakur, and Davis at 135.
