I lean Usyk. The top of his division isn't as talented and he can get some easier marks. Seems to have more killer instinct too. Vasyl has to start closing shows.

I'd say Lomachenko, he's already fighting top comp and already has the belt, if he keeps on winning he'll be better.

Splitting hairs! Plus I do not really know. I guess the easy answer is Loma due to his huge headstart in professional opposition.

They are both a breath of fresh air and a welcome change to the status quo in a dirty corrupt sport.

U.K. has really stepped up their amateur Programme as well.

Over a short time as well. How did they go about making the improvements. Did they start putting money into facilities and coaches and encourageing kids to try boxing instead of more traditional sports?

The uk programme hasn't improved much at all just londonolympics and dodgy decisions

The Irish team and come on incredibly over the last 8 years due to the introduction of a high performance squad and top class coaches like zaur Anita and billy Walsh , the British copied Ireland's model of the high performance team after seeing how successful it was

I'm a huge fan of Usyk, he'll be a top cruiserweight at the end of next year.
Lomachenko started on top and he's already a belt holder.

Gvozdyk (LHW) is also a 2012 Olympian to watch.

Lomachenko, going by resume, technical skills already owned and phisical potential.

Also Usyk has a huge problem, he's stuck between two weight classes, like David Haye he has to cut weight to compete in cruiserweights, and he's not too big to enter comfortably the superheavyweight division.

Lomachenko, he's just more advanced & closer to his ceiling, plus he's more talented.

Usyk is excellent but there are a lot more unanswered questions about him as a pro. Cruiser is a tougher, deeper division than feather & the road to a title won't be easy.

Meh, you have to wonder how much their young figters care about ther amateurs. They seem to go pro in their teens and dont want to hang around.

    Rather make money I suppose.

Erickson Lubin was considered one of the best amateurs in the world at his weight aged 17, yet couldnt be bothered hanging around until the olympics ahen he'd only be 20.

Broner, the Charlos, and many others all went pro in their teens. Making an Olympic team doesnt seem to have the same allure as other countries.
