    1st Pac fight Morales was better, though 2011 Morales is probably better then any version after that.

    :good Morales was not only severly faded, as he is now, but he had to contend with being severly weight drained.


    I would say more but poppkins ran to the admins and I could get banned for having an opinion.

    Morales of the second fight was even a tier higher.....probably 3rd too...GOt to look at the level of the opponent,Maidana is flawed his strengths are his power and grit..Morales can still beat or look good against those type of guys even the world class ones.

    put him in with a skilled boxer or boxer puncher and he will look old again.

    Morales of the first fight was still an elite pfp type fighter(although alittle faded).
    Morales of 2011 is a borderline top 10 contender and thats being nice cuz of his showing vs maidaina...todays version has to be matched right.

    Morales strengths are his technique and skill. His grit and heart are big factors. But he looked good against Pacquiao and Maidana because they are flawed defensively, and allow themselves to be placed in range to get hit.


    Put Maidana of the 2nd Pacquiao fight against a mover, a guy who fights at range with speed, and he'd look awful. Put him in against a Maidana type fighter, offensive minded fighters who are there to be hit, and he doesnt look so bad.

    Thus the crux of the issue.
