Wow! Lots of names and lots of close ones. I will have to think on it...it seems initially that Zarate over Tito is the only one that instantly jumps out at me.

For the record, my list is:

    Monzon
    McCallum
    Tyson
    Ortiz
    Spinks
    Qawi
    Hamed
    Foster
    Zarate

Nelson or McCallun was the hardest to decide.

Can someone explain to me how Monzon was a better fighter than Chavez?

Better jab, better power, more versatile, while equal in most other areas.

Chavez's style was more aesthetically pleasing but not more effective.

I'll give you better jab ...but Monzon was no one shot hitter . And for versatility,His bread and butter was the 1,2. His inside game was not allowing his opponent to fight inside

Wins against Whitaker and De La Hoya stand out in his resume, in comparison to Zarate.

Wow, excellent matchups. Not a single easy question in the bunch. Will have to give those some thought.

Ironically, Naseem Hamed is the only answer that comes to me quickly..... and, he is the second worst fighter on the entire list.

    JCC over Monzon
Nelson over McCallum (probably my 2 favorite non Philly fighters- real close for me)
    Tyson over Pryor
    Ortiz over Sanchez
    Arguello over Spinks
    Fenech over Qawi
    Hamed over Tszyu
    Foster over Gomez
    Zarate over Tito

Close match ups in most of these where we will see a lot of split answers
