I think GGG is more skilled ,with more facets to his game.Who is greater? That depends on your standpoint I suppose.
I would say Marciano because I consider Walcott, Charles and Moore to be better p4p than anyone that GGG beat even when Marciano fought them.
GGG definitely has the better jab. Fights better at pocket range. More dynamic footwork. Marciano way better on the inside. Harder punches P4P. Far better head movement. I would definitely say Marciano, but obviously that's not a knock on G. If Golovkin fights several more world class guys like Canelo and Jacobs, and scored some great knockouts, it may change. But when you think of the kind of performances Rocky had when he fought the best men, it's very very impressive.
Marciano. I think he is just so much more creative, unpredictable, and relentless. Behind Duran and Armstrong, perhaps, Maricano is the ultimate pressure fighter. If we matched a 174 pound Golovkin against a 174 pound Charles, I think Golovkin would get outclassed.
Marciano but there isn't a lot in it. The biggest difference for me is when Marciano stepped up the pressure his opponents tended to get knocked out. The only man weighing the weight of Rocky who I favour to beat him is Dempsey
