On paper it has to be, and in terms of how good Toney had been at that new weight. Toney's performance against Barkley is as good as it gets, probably the best technical boxing performance ever. But we don't know just what shape he really was in in that ring against Jones, with stories of huge weight loss and the fact his body tone even looked different, and his face and head looked kind of ill in a way. It's hard to say. It was total domination though, with complete ease!

What about the fact that Jones won a title at HW, a division he has NO business fighting in, and beat a much larger man in Ruiz, while being past his prime?

Floyd has no business being at 154, having started at 130. Although to be fair, Roy started at 154 and Ruiz was 230+!

The end of Roy's career would play out much different if he never fought at heavyweight. That weight cut back down to 175. Seemingly destroying muscle mass is what killed Roy's career.

But he made history by winning a HW title. It was the cherry on top of his career.

Jones never would have lost to Tarver or Johnson pre heavyweight.

Mayweather has better defensive techniques to fall back on as he slows down. That's the only area Mayweather has an advantage.

Should have stayed at Heavy or went to cruiser. He gained at least 18 pounds of muscle with what looked like less than 5% body fat. Cutting back to 175 destroyed him.

He also made history by dropping back down and beating Tarver, though it was close and Roy looked human for the first time.

Roy, had otherworldly speed (physical talent) Floyd can do more, and imo a more intelligent fighter

Floyd and by a clear margin.

    His resume topples Jones'.

I don't see how it topples Roy's resume.
