I chose Floyd. First time I seen him was against Jesus Chavez back in 01 and I thought he was the best fighter in the world then.

A one in a generation type phenom who lost his edge when his subpar skillset was shown after his reflexes became shot.

Shocked its even up for debate, as much as I don't like Floyd he is by far the better fighter, in terms of pure skill not many compare to RJJ, but as an overall fighter Floyd is much better

Was Jones the perfect blend of skill, talent, and athleticism?

No. The formula was a bit heavier on talent and lighter on skill than would be a "perfect" blend.

Interestingly with PBF it could actually be the other way around.

If they were the same size Roy wins every time. And he was THAT much better than floyd. Floyd may be "technically" better and have better defense, but his offense was no where near as explosive and powerful as Roy's. Speed is about the same I think but Roy's unorthodox style would be a nightmare for Floyd.

Roid Jones tested his physically measurable limits as an athlete more than Mayweather has with aid of medical science, but there is no question about who is the better fighter. Put these two together in the ring and you get a borefest with mayweather winning by points decision. Assuming weight class is around 154, obviously.

Roy is too big, too fast and had scary power at those weights... Old man Mosley almost put Floyd down, imagine what Jones would do to him..

Mayweather would come no closer to getting in the ring with Jones as he would GGG.

I don't know how anyone arrives at this conclusion. Floyd is so much better defensively. He also has a better resume. Floyd is top 30 or 40 all time, Roy is top 50.

Like I said, it would be a borefest, but Mayweather is so far away from rjj in boxing skills, that he would easily beat rjj in around 154 weight class. Rjj would be eating the lead rights everytime May sees the opportunity to hit it and rjj would never be offensive enough to land anything of his own. No counter puncher beats Mayweather. I think there is enough blueprint for that for any boxing fan to realize.

There would be no borefest, It would be a brutal mismatch that Mayweather haters would love to dream of.

Floyd does not have the power to keep Roy off of him.. Roy would go on the attack and brutally KTFO Mayweather... Early too.

Laughing imagining the scared look Floyd's face when he is in the corner trying to shoulder roll Roy's lighting fast combinations coming at him from all angles.:rofl
