Right now it has to be Rigondeaux. However, Stevenson has yet to reach his prime and I expect he will surpass Rigondeaux by the end of his career.

I'm switching my vote to Stevenson.

Rigondeux is a much better offensive fighter with a big edge in power, but while on offense Rigo has leaky defense. While focused on defense Rigondeux is probably better than Stevenson in that regard too. But Stevenson tips the scales when blending the two together, and Stevenson is still getting better.

I think Rigo might have been the best ever h2h at 122. But Rigo still got dropped in certain fights or lost rounds (Cordoba). He also didn't infight.

Shakur at 130 and possibly 126 was better.

If Shakur and Rigo are mediocre, than so is Manny, Leonard, Floyd, and Pernell

Rigo is still greater right now but Shakur will end up having the better career.

Man, it doesn’t take much to excite you guys. Shakur is a good young fighter with great potential but he’s a long way from being a great fighter. Let him do it against top opponents before we put the crown on him. He’s my favorite young fighter but I want to see how he looks against the top guys at his weight. Why rush it?

Rigo is one of the greatest amateurs of all time, a 2 x Olympic gold medalist/2 x World Amateur gold medalist, one of the most skilled fighters of all time, with devastating bone breaking/face rearranging power for a leprechaun and mongoose reflexes. And he didn't even turn pro till he was 29, ten years older than what Shakur was when he turned pro. People keep conveniently forgetting these things when comparing fighters who turned pro in their teens to great amateurs who turned pro in their mid to late 20s.

Beating a prime ranked P4P #3 at the time IIRC Nonito in the manner he did is an infinitely better win than anything Shakur has achieved yet. I'm not saying he isn't really talented and won't go on to achieve great things but imagine him in there against a same size Rigo who would not only be super slick, super skilled, and super fast but also super powerful too
