Better fighter: Tszyu (MA Gonzalez fight, '99) or Calzaghe (Lacy fight, '06)?

Lufc, you are trying to snake out of things badly. Lacy didnt just beat Reid, he busted him up like never before.
Why do you say Reid was shot, the fight was predicted to be a close tough affair and Reid wasnt deemed shot having looked very unlucky to have lost to Ottke, one of the best SMWs ever and having beaten undefeated B Magee who was frindge world class. Reid beat future IBF mandatory Brinkley after losing to Lacy. Reid wasnt still at his best, I admit, but Lacy dealt with him as you would have expected a top world champ to do so.
So please Luf, dont try and alter the facts of where the fighters were going into their respective fights.
At that time Gonzalez was 2-1-1 in his last 4 fights and in his 2nd fight after Tsyzu lost to a 18-10-0 fighter . Lacy was at that time riding the crest of a wave and undefeated having beaten 2 world rated fighters before facing Calzaghe and beating 2 world rated fighters in his fight after.

Do you just follow Failey around and suck his **** all day? Never see you without him. You and Failey should have your own forum, then everyone who wants to talk to you can go there. Let's see how busy it gets with you and Failey talking to yourself.

You on the other hand are a delusional deep throating *** who will be forced to gag if you dont keep silent :barf.
Now Bernie dont think a little flyweight like yourself can punch with ESB HWs like us do you . Run along before I take the gloves off :hi:

reid's career best performance imo came in 99 when he capitalised on a hand injury suffered by joe to outhustle him over 12 rounds.

maybe some would say he had an indian summer against ottke and magee but let's be honest, he was far far far removed from what he once was in the 90's, and he wasn't even super special back then.

either way i'd rather draw against a shot/faded chavez then beat a shot/faded reid. i the aftermath of the beatings both lacy and mag looked really bad.

all that aside, tzsyu still looks better and was better than joe in this instance and over the course of their respective careers.

    Why use those fights?

Lacy is a bum, and Gonzalez was much better.. so of course people say Kostya.

Why not just ask people.. who was better Calzaghe or Kostya?

Why do you always try to spin thing....:-(

I actually liked joe during his active years, he was an englishman like myself and he had great stamina and workrate plus a very solid chin.

However I think history will remember him below tzyu. I do think he'll make the hall tho and hence will go down as a great.

I don't anyone would really dispute that gonzalez was greater than lacy. Great performances by both fighters here but my biggest problem with joe here is my biggest praise for him also, he was so dominant landing tonnes of punches, he should have forced the stoppage, he new lacy couldn't hurt him, as great a performance as it was, he never really got out of first gear. Credit to the man's talents, but i'd have liked a stoppage.

    You're a lunatic.

Calzaghe-Lacy was, in my opinion, the most dominant, sustained beatdown of a good opponent that Joe C ever unleashed.

Tszyu-Gonzalez was, in my opinion, the most dominant, sustained beatdown of a good opponent than Zoo ever unleashed.

End of story. Think what you like, you're an imbecile anyway. :good

I'm pretty sure Calzaghe's Welsh. Not a big deal, but it may be if there are any Welshmen reading this thread. Didn't mean to wander off course. Carry on boys.

Calzaghe sure gets underrated on ESB. Joe demolished and outclassed guys which no one else could or did. I think he proved more than Tszyu in consistency.
