Floyd could only wished he had the same childhood hard life as Pac so he could gloat about how he overcame life's adversities in 24/7.

Floyd's hardest problems in life are his smacktalk with his dad that normally just stem out of shallow and childish exchanges.

sasakul goes down in history as a nobody and short reigning champ.
hernandez had never lost at 130, only lost to the bigger DLH at 135. he was one of the best super feathers of the era and mayweather completely outclassed him. they're not even close.

Short reigning champ? Sure. Nobody? Absolutely not. How many Sasakul fights have you watched? How versed are you on the lighter weight divisions? The man was a solid technical boxer who had competitive fights and a win against a potential future hall of famer in Arbachakov, if you even know who that is.

Nothing pisses me off more on this forum than ignorance. Why do people speak so confidently on **** they know nothing about?

    Floyd V Hernandez (@130)
    Floyd Vs JLC (@135)
    Floyd Vs Gatti (@140)
    Floyd Vs Baldomir (@147)
    Floyd Vs Oscar (@154)

    Pac Vs Sasakul (@112)
    Pac Vs Ledwaba (@122)
    Pac Vs Marquez II (@130)
    Pac Vs Diaz (@135)
    Pac Vs Hatton (@140)
    Pac Vs Cotto (@147)
    Pac Vs Margaritto (@154)

    Not counting international titles.

Floyd's 130 and 135lbs fights were against superior men, no question. Especially 135. 130 was a more dominant win than Manny's over Marquez.

I would rate Manny's 140 win over Hatton more meaningful than Floyd's over Gatti's and Cotto is a more skillful fighter than Baldomir at 147. But you must also give credit for Baldomir's Lineal title status.

A faded DLH and a catchweight Margarito post wrap controversy is a draw at 154 IMO.

So head to head in weight divisions I'd rank them 2-2-1 - a dead draw. Then Pac has another two weight classes with Sasakul and Ledwaba - a linear champ and the Ledwaba win considered a big upset at the time gives him a little more depth in the trophy cabinet to Floyd.

That said Floyd has more defences of his 130lbs title that Pac had.

I wonder if Floyd's jealousy of Pac's achievements stems from the belt collection? Floyd sure loves them green ones!

That's true, he should be given pts for getting the win as an underdog. At the same time I think outclassing a guy the way Mayweather did by showing a complete boxing game fighting different styles and stratergies within one fight is more impressive then knocking a guy out by being bigger and faster then him.

Sasakul will be remembered as the only man to defeat the unbeatable and one of the longest reigning flyweight champion Yuri Arbachacov. Cannot say that kind of milestone from Hernandez either.

I like how "situations" matter in this instance but are thrown out the window in most other instances like say giving in to all the demands, fighting at 154 when you can make 140, giving up an 15 pd advantage while facing the cash cow in boxing. Or facing guys 10yrs younger and 14pds heavier. Or a facing guy with 18pds on you and defeating him while breaking your hand.

I don't know enough about Saskal so i'm not going to knock his career, but that logic isn't sound. Buster Douglas defeated Mike Tyson, doesn't make Douglas great.

Both were quality wins for sure, but Floyd's is easily more impressive. can't believe only 57% agree...

It's more interesting to see someone win unexpectedly that to see someone win as expected. Just my 2 cents
