Which fight do you think was better. I think Usyk vs. Fury is one of the most skilled heavyweight fights of all time. The changes in momentum, adjustments and IQ of both guys was next level on par with the first Holyfield vs. Bowe fight. Fury showed great technical display against a master boxer and Usyk showed he's a dog who can tear it up when it gets ugly. Reminded me a bit of the first SRL vs Tommy Hearns fight.

The third Wilder fight was more dramatic but not as skilful or equally matched.

The Fury vs Wilder 3 fight was very entertaining, but from a boxing standpoint I thought it was very sloppy. Fury vs Usyk was night and day different. High level and back and forth. Fury vs Wilder 3 was a good fight, however Fury vs Usyk was a great fight

The better question would be Fury Wilder 1 vs Fury Usyk. The fact of the matter is that in both Fury Wilder 2 and 3, Wilder came into the fight a shell of his former self, he was breathing hard before the bell even rung, there was something seriously wrong with the way Wilder prepared for both the rematch and the 3rd fight. The 1st Fury Wilder fight was obviously the best of the trilogy and the closest Wilder came to actually winning.

And Fury came in terrible shape for the third fight as well, which made for a good fight, but yeah, sloppy.

    Let's count the momentum shifts:

Fury-Wilder I had Wilder starting with all the momentum in the world from the opening bell. We all expected an execution.

Wilder -> Fury outboxes him -> Wilder scores KD -> Fury recovers and outboxes -> Wilder scores heavy KD -> Fury recovers and outboxes
    5 momentum shifts

Fury-Wilder 3 had Fury with all the momentum.

Fury -> Wilder with two KD's in R4 -> Fury takes control -> Wilder lands periodic bombs, but not exactly full momentum shift shots.

I'm going with Fury-Wilder I. The third fight had more micro shifts wherein Fury got clipped in the second half of the fight and it looked like a R4 repeat could be on the way, but he never took a fully flush shot. The first fight was absolute insanity. I'd been a skeptic of Fury since he was getting knocked down by unknown cruiserweights in 2011, and even more so when he became a 400lb cokehead. Couldn't believe what I saw.

edit: I misread and thought it was Fury/Wilder I vs. Fury/Wilder III

    Fury Usyk for skills
    Fury Wilder for war

appriectee Fuyr & Usyk while their here because we'll be back to plodding bums like Wlad/AJ before you know it with nothing but a punch beating on lesser men.

Baptism III was almost as one-sided as Baptism II was. With the exception of one round where Belly got complacent and walked into a big right hand and then got dropped again shortly after by a back of the mind shot Belly beat the crap out of him

It was exciting, deeply satisfying and a lot of fun watching Belly beat him like a dog and expose him again but aside frim that round it was pretty much one-way traffic

Whilst Fury v Wilder 3 was entertaining it was always Fury’s fight to lose, the Fury v Usyk fight was simply levels above in both terms of skill sets and what was at stake and Usyk was rightly seen by many as the favourite after Fury’s showing against Ngannou .

Fury-Usyk, Fury-Wilder 3 was just a one-sided ass beating after round 5 and should’ve been stopped multiple times

Usyk vs Fury. Fury destroyed Wilder again in 3. Other than the KDs, Wilder had little success.

Fury/Wilder III was an elite version of Vinny Madalone/Brian Minto. Sloppy, guys getting hit a lot and neglecting craft but everyone was getting hurt and dropped so it was entertaining.

Usyk/Fury was a higher IQ HW chess match (thanks to Usyk).

Usyk/Fury was far better and IMO for guys who live for the sweet science far more enjoyable.

For barroom brawling thrills and spills It goes to wilder/Fury 3

But I still voted usyk Fury, as it was a high quality fight with plenty of skill

No wrong answer, 2 very different fights. I imagine casuals preferred the drama of wilder v Fury

I'd vote Fury v wilder 1 over usyk vs Fury and Aj V wlad over the lot most likely

Watching Wilder get slept was nice but Usyk put on a clinic against a taller, longer, heavier, and all around larger...and younger man. It was remarkable
