Apples and oranges. Tyson could throw his much shorter being quicker and more direct and more powerful. Frazier could use his in many ways, sometimes like as a long hook like a make shift jab and with many different angles and variety with it.

Frazier had a better left hook. Tyson was a two handed puncher, left was just as powerful as right...Frazier only had a left hand.

in retrospect Tyson was the better fighter. If he fought Foreman and Ali he would have given maybe more trouble at first stylewise and could have knocked out either, yet when the going go tough Frazier was a tougher guy mentally. I still think Mike is greater. I don't see him thrown around the ring by Foreman like Frazier was.

Tyson was quicker and could land a quick hard left hook without giving it everything he had.

Frazier was trying to knock heads off with most of the hooks he threw.

Tyson's was sometimes a punch thrown together with other punches as part of a combination. Sure, Frazier did this too... but all things led up to the big left hook. With Tyson he may follow it with a right hook, another left hook, some uppercuts, whatever.

Better? Hard to pick. I'm going to lean toward Frazier though. Frazier could land his without being right up on a guy (watch his knockdown of Ali). Tyson usually did it when he was closer.

H2H? Again, that's tough. I think Tyson would be hell for Frazier in the early rounds but as the fight moves into the middle rounds Frazier would start to get comfortable. I see Farzier going down once maybe even twice. I think Frazier would recover and eventually start hurting Tyson until he finally stops him late in the fight.

I rank them very close together on the top 10 HWs of all-time list.

Tyson vs. Frazier? I don't think Tyson does too much better than Frazier did. He'd have a better first round than Frazier did in their first fight, but in the end I see Foreman stopping Tyson inside of 5 rounds.

frazier“s was more powerful too, and the left hook to the body of frazier was definitely much better, but tyson had a better right hand and better uppers

Frazier had a good right hand, it is over shadowed because he had a tremendous left hook
