Better in-fighter: Pernell Whitaker or Floyd Mayweather Jr

    Both Whitaker and Mayweather have shown to be more than just great defensive fighters but also masters in any range including on the inside. Both also showed underrated physical strength as well. When it comes to fighting up close and toe to toe who would you say was better on the inside in your view?

    Whitaker out-fought Chavez in the pocket. That's pretty hard to beat.

    Definitely Whitaker. He threw some awesome shots inside when he felt like it. (If only he had felt like it more often).

    Whitaker definitely. Mayweather was not effective offensively on the inside.
