    I'll actually go with Buster.

Wladimir wouldn't be able to keep Tyson at bay for very long with his jab.

Douglas's jab, when at it's best, had more speed and snap than Klitschko's jab. It was thrown much looser, wasn't as mechanical, and not as stiff. However, Klitschko has shown he can dominate entire fights solely by working his jab. So in that regard, he probably has a more consistent and dominant left jab that Douglas's.

This doesn't mean he would have defeated Tyson though.

Buster had one of the most beautiful jabs I have ever seen (Id only put Holmes' at HW better).

Wlad's is more powerful...but I wouldnt go as far as to say its better.

And brooklyn, I understand your point about Wlad dominating a fight with it...but who is the competition he is dominating? Would he be able to be that dominant with that punch vs a PRIME Tyson, or a PRIME Holyfield, or a PRIME Mccall, or even a Tony Tucker...or a Greg Page...or Tex Cobb (ok, maybe vs a Tex Cobb...LOL).

Yes its able to dominate the Lamon Brewster's and the Sultan Ibragimov's of todays fight game....but during Douglas' time....not so much.

Not to take away from how phenominal Wlad's jab truely is...because its a MONSTER of a punch. But better than Douglas'???? Thats a stretch if you ask me.

Im shocked also at how EASILY most are picking Wlad???

People really need to go back and watch just how fluid, just how technically perfect, just how truely beautiful that of punch Buster's was.

Lamon Brewster has always had an elite defense; he makes it very hard to establish a jab, let alone hit him, but Klitschko did it with ease.

In all seriousness, I can't argue your posts simply because your argument regarding competition is valid and sways me to change my mind. Aside from power, Klitschko's jab isn't superior in any way. You've successfully swayed me to the other side.

Wlad's jab is better, here's why:

It's as powerful as many other HW's right hands.

He can paw with it as a range finder or settle down and smack his opponent around with it.

Last but not least, he can hook off that jab with serious power.

Wlad's jab is so good he relies on it to a fault.

It wasn't just the jab though. It was also straight right hands, right uppercuts, pushing Tyson back, etc...
