Better KO - Lewis/Rahman or Rahman/Lewis?

One of my favourite heavyweight KOs

Tough call.

Rahman's had more of a shock-factor to it; making you jump out of your seat and scream, "WTF just happened there?!". Definitely more brutal. It's made even better by the fact that he was actually wiping the smile off an opponent's face:

Whereas Lewis' was more beautiful. The type you can watch a million times and never get bored. Everything was perfect in it - the combo, the sounds, the commentary, and the way Rahman landed and stayed on the floor.

Love them both for different reasons, but Rahman's was more brutal, without doubt.

 

I'll go for Lewis on Rahman. Such a sweet one-two with a lot of pent up aggression behind it!

Plus I'm a sucker for rousing US commentary - think one of the commentators says something like 'Boooom!' after Lewis lands the right and fells Rahman like a tree.

Cue chest beating from Lewis.

 

Lewis' was one of the sexiest 1-2s I've ever seen!

Also the pure beauty of how Rahmans head landed perfectly on the 'O' of DON, it was just a work of art.

2nd one. the first one is brutal but the 2nd has some science around it. Plus the sound it makes sounds like someone is being shot

 

Lewis' was the better punch, but I've got to go for Rahman bcos it was more shocking & out of the blue which made u stand up. Even in the rematch after Lewis had been ko'd he was expected to KO Rahman, so wasn't as shocking. People will remember Lewis getting KOd more then Rahman.

 

Rahman-Lewis was tremendous, but Lewis-Rahman somehow managed to top it.

It just looks even better in replays, just perfect.

 

It's the rematch for me, has always been one of my favourite moments from boxing. Rahman was so disrespectful to Lewis in the build-up, and the way Lewis finished him was perfect revenge.

It is one of the most perfectly delivered knockouts ever, the sound when he connects is so sweet!

And the thing that topped it all for me is the overhead shot of Rahman (the Don King fighter) lying on the canvas with the Don King logo/crown perfectly alligned with his head........beautiful!:happy

Setting his feet up to feint him, blinding him with the sweeping hook, shifting his massive weight, then the massive right hand on the chin.

Brilliant KO, even more so considering the size of the man.

 

Yup:yep The hand speed he showed for such a big man with that 1-2 was quite impressive too
