    Cheers for that mate, brilliant!:good

That Shannon Briggs fight was so exciting, I know Lewis was a bit sloppy that night, and probably made harder work of it than was necessary, but god it was good....... I'm going to watch it now actually:lol:

So many good nights with Lewis; I wonder how many heavyweights could have a highlight reel that good?! :think

Rahman a bigger upset and achievement.

Lewis' when they were both in good shape and more aesthetically pleasing.

    I go Lewis-Rahman II.

I love the 2nd knockdown... slips 4 punches with his hands by his sides without moving his feet, smiles and unleashes a 3 punch combo and drops him... pure class

I used to think he was boring! Had seen Tyson,Tua, Vitali and Holyfield fights only as a kid, liked them more so never appreciated him at the time. Was very much of the 'Vitali was ahead on points and robbed' at 12 or 13 odd as well

But he often took it to guys in straight out fights and blasted 'em. He also had to stand his ground sometimes which is why it pisses menoff when people say 'dodgy chin' or whatnot. Lewis arguably faced more big punchers than any heavyweight champ in history!

    As for highlight reel:

    Bruno
    Ruddock
    Morrison
    Mercer
    Vitali
    Briggs
    Golota
    Grant

All exciting ones off the top of my head or big K.Os (some both)

Lewis' ring record is stacked. I have him at no.3 in my top ten Heavys. Have really grown to appreciate him over time. Also has wins over Mason, Tucker, Weaver, Mavrovic, Botha, Occasio, who range from ranked contender to name opponent.

    Stacked.

    Oh very much agreed!

I remember showing that picture in the paper the next day to my dad, and us both having a good laugh at it. As someone that refused to play Don King's game so much, that really summed things up for Lewis.

One of my favourite moments in boxing. That fight also has some pretty good commentary. "Like a Lion in the long grass."

Lewis-Briggs is full of great macho BS.

Like them both grinning across the ring at each other from their stools before the start of the fourth round.

Lewis is a legend. Just a shame Wlad doesn't have a pair and an inside game, cos if he did it would be like he never left

Love your Avi by the way... looks like FMJ drew inspiration from Lennox for his fight with Hatton

I agree mate, isn't it so often the way that we really appreciate the fighters when they've gone (I was always a fan of both Naz and Calzaghe, but it's only now that I really realise what they bought to the game).

Out of interest (and I'm pretty sure you've answered this before:lol:) who do you have above Lewis in the ATG's?

And 'stacked' is most definitely the best way to sum up his record, show me many heavyweights with a more impressive resume!:bbb

Yes, the irony was/is brilliant! I really respected Lewis the way he always controlled his destiny.

I love that about that fight, proper slugfest where both men put their balls on the line (no homo!)

I love Ian Darke, one of the best IMO. Really miss his commentary.

    I love Lewis too

Another favourite moment is after he has put Golota down, Golota's face just says

    " oh my god, I am truly f*cked "
