Better lagacy - Calzaghe, Jones, Hopkins?

You get into the details of their overall careers and I see it as very clearly this order. All are great fighters, but the order of greatness appears set IMO.

 

Calzaghe deserves credit for beating Hopkins. Period. The win alone doesn't make him greater, but it puts him in the discussion with Jones and Hopkins. Hopkins wasn't prime, but he was and still is one of the absolute best in the world, and however close, Calzaghe deserved the win.

there is not question u can say for jones has a lhw.. because he held every belt in the division at one point.... and last time i looked calzaghe didnt hold all the belts at 168... just defended the one he had for years

 

On Paper if it's Bernard, it's Calzaghe.

Calzaghe beat a version of Bernard that was still Top 4 P4P and who destroyed the middleweight champion.

That's a bigger win than any of Bernard's in my view and when you add the losses to it.

But no, it's Jones Jr

 

Look again, then.

He weld WBC, WBA and WBO consecutively, as well as IBF and WBO consecutively, as well as the Ring belt. He never lost the title in the ring, refusing to fight some guy that got beaten by Berrio in favour of fighting someone else.

So yes, he held all titles without being defeated.

If you brake down all of the opponents and when these guys actually fought them Jones should have the better resume .
