Im not a Tito hater, I appreciate his style of fighting and when im kicking back its usually that sort of style I stick into the DVD player - I do own Titos career set. But it is not uncommon for me to pick the boxer over the puncher, hence me picking Mosley to beat him and I thought DeLa hoya was out boxing him comfortably and had more than enough rounds in the bank to be given the decision. I do think H2H Tito falls short against certain people. Its not uncommon for me to pick my favourite fighters to lose either, I expect Vitali to stop David Haye. If it makes you feel better I picked 147lb Tito to stop 147lb Paul Williams on a thread a lil while ago...:thumbsup
People who say DLH had a "prettier" left hook are crazy! Tito's left hook was thrown on the inside quick, short, and devastating...It was a text book left hook. Executed after that straight right (which typically dazed many) and thrown quickly...BAM! Lights out...:bbb Tito by far...although it'll be DLH's that will be remembered. It's the punch that got him his ticket to fame
The first left hook Oscar throws in this opening round is damn good, shocks Quartey, but check out the second one shooting up at an angle. ****en crazy hook! OK buddy:good I was just curious. And if it makes you feel any better I also thought DLH won the fight.
I never understood this rationale. Mosley is not and has never been a boxer. At his best he was a swarmer that came in and overwhelmed his opponents with lots of very fast combinations. He was never a stick and move type of fighter. Aside from his amazing handspeed he didn't really display any of the traights of boxer or slickster and yet everytime the subject comes up there are a ton of people that say he would outbox Tito. Mosley was always standing in front of his guys and not too hard to hit if you were willing to risk getting caught by a 5 piece combo which is something that Tito would have been able to deal with., I'd expect Mosley's punch output to drop dramatically once he started feeling Tito's power
Excellent post bro:good I feel it is a common misconception that Shane was a great"boxer" mainly due to his awesome hand speed. Shane was/is a fighter.:deal
Let's take a look :think [YT]OMWktDHd4Bc[/YT] [YT]VMsoCvMYWnE[/YT] There's plenty of the left hook of both in each vid... I STILL SAY IT'S TITO ALL THE WAY :good
