I like to go back and watch hoya vs trinidad as its two of my fav fighters of all time going at each other, that's why I'm enjoying this thread so much. But a good example of how great both their hooks was was that their fight, which was supposed to be a battle of left hooks ended up becoming a lesson in defensive boxing. Both fighters were very aware of not making any mistakes in this fight. I suppose both having such ko power brought out the best in their defensive skills rather than the all out war most thought it would be. Tito gets very little credit for his defence but the guy was a damn good boxer that was better at hoya only in keeping a snail pace and saving energy before exploding. Both amazing boxers and I'm glad I got to witness both in their prime. :good
