It's the art of hit and don't get hit, and when the fight isn't ended by a KO, it's a game of who won more rounds. De La Hoya and didn't get hit, and he won more rounds. His running at the end was a disgrace, but going by the rules he should have won. Whether you or I like him or not doesn't change that. He won more rounds. And the second question doesn't matter, because it wasn't a 15 round fight. As a question that one is right up there with the old "If my aunt had a dick..." That's to his credit, but in the real world it doesn't make the fighters he fought any better.
I think this was actually fueled by some asinine comments on another thread. I don't know, but I think. Sort of a "hahaha" rhetorical question is my guess.
