How could you not have been impressed by the Ruiz win?

Just look at all of the factors involved and give credit where it's due.

As if Bernard would ever have fought anybody 30 pounds heavier.

He was fighting Morrade Hakkar after Roy had dominated Ruiz.

    How's it going mate?

    Teemy, it's over to you.

What have all the B Hop fans got to say about this??

And this guy has a better legacy than Roy?

A 6'1 guy with a 75" reach, squeezing himself down to MW, fighting smaller opponents, whilst Roy fought the likes of Toney, Ruiz and Tarver etc?

The poll is an absolute JOKE!

H2H Jones Jr. is more dangerous than Hopkins. He also has better wins. So how in the flying **** is Hopkins greater than Jones Jr?

    This is such BS.

    I'm good mate, thanks.

What the hell are we both doing up at this time in a morning?

    Ha!

    I'll speak to you tomorrow.

By the way, do you remember when you threatened to shut down that thread on Roy?

Well If you were planning to drop something like you have on this one, then forget it!

    I'll retract my previous statements.

That's got to be the end for Teemy.

Who the hell's going to defend what Borenard said?

I honestly don't feel Bernard wanted any part of Roy in 2002 if he didn't get his 50-50 split while dragging Roy to a weight he had not been at for years.

What did he actually do in those years better than taking 40% against Roy? Not a lot..

I understand where he was coming from on a business side though.

I have no interest in getting into any of this with anyone (including the Jones vs B-Hop debate). A lot of the time these days I just like to put info out there and let others debate it. But B-Hop wanted nothing to do with Calzaghe either back then (not implying he was scared), despite Calzaghe calling him out frequently (direct call outs), agreeing to go to the US for the fight on the spot no questions asked and getting his promoter to badger him about the fight and make numerous offers, yes numerous as in more than one.

I remember seeing an interview with Frank a place where rabbits live where he was clearly very angry and frustrated with the B-Hop. He said it got to the point where B-Hop's phone went dead everytime he called. I remember reading other stuff regarding their attempts to make that fight in Boxing News and Boxing Monthly magazines during all of that period too. Anyone who thinks Calzaghe didn't want that fight, the one he called his '''career defining fight'' for years, and is to blame for it not happening back then is clueless :patsch
