Better legacy Ricky Hatton or Nigel Benn

PBF and Pac were the only prime world class fighters Hatton fought and he was knocked out easily by both.

Hatton avoided all the better fighters in his weight division as he was carefully managed,his popularity got him the shots at Pac and PBF not his boxing ability.

you a bit hard on hatton though,he has fought some good and v good boxers, who a lot of so called world champs would struggle with.

benn got stopped by a accumulation of punchs,not just a jabatsch
watson that night was bloody awsome,he took away benns power and just outboxed and outpunched the puncher that night,just like eubank did the year after,

You can argue every fight finishes on an accumulation of punches. Ultimately Benn was floored heavily by a jab.

Watson was legendary that night and Eubank 2.

I'm playing devils advocate at the moment.

 

Castillo was proven to the degree he is considered a great lightweight. G Man can always be argued against.

Old guy but proven or young guy but not proven (relatively speaking). It's a debatable choice.

 

In terms of legacy and style I give it to Benn. Benn fought more quality opponents in Eubank, Watson, and Mcclellan. As far as their swarming styles Benn used a lot more head movement while Hatton just comes in face first
