Lets be honest, all this talk about Fury fighting or not fighting, I dont give too much crap whether its happening or not. Even if he does, I doubt he can regain what he lost. He will be remembered as a one hit wonder, one that has potential but really don't have the stone to carry on. So who will have higher legacy, Douglas or Fury?!?
James Buster Douglas! He beats Tyson at his peak, completely dismantled him despite a somehow close score cards and knocked him out. Fury beats an old Wladimir in one of the worst heavyweight fight I have ever seen.
I say Fury because he has not totally been written off but he is a month or so away from it. I don't know though Buster Douglas had a video game. This content is protected
it's Douglas of course. He holds the single greatest upset in the entire sport, which is considered one of the greatest upsets in all time in all of sports as well. Frontpage news worldwide and dominated the news for a week in my country, that usually doesn't care much for boxing. That feat alone leaves a huge legacy. He won the undisputed championship (all 3 belts, when there were "only" 3) and beat a prime Tyson (who didn't train properly, but still).
Wlad was much better at that time than Tyson was after Rooney was fired, Tyson was worse in his fight against Douglas because he got hit much more than Wlad did vs a spoiling long armed Fury.
