Oh, I've always known this because I was one of the few that actually watched some of Porter's fights prior to the mirages of the Alexander and Paulie fights.

Maidana and Porter, to be honest I think they've both had periods in their career of being overrated big time. A fight between them, I think by pick would be a TD from a head clash.

Maidana is a far better fighter nowadays than he was back in 2011-2012. :hi:

    Nice try.

Everyone knows Maidana is better than Porter and you Brittards have to accept that fight. :hi:

Only delusional yanks think it, but in all honesty if u asked them, they know floyd took some nasty licks from a plodder like maidana, and barely hurt marcos, compare it porter who landed nothing and got countered superbly by special k and you should have only winner in the poll. Brook over Porter.

There's a reason why he's fighting the p4p king, because of his recent transformation and the fact that he managed to shock Broner.

Maidana is far more relevant than Brook is and the world knows it. :hi:

Most Brits know it too, only Brittards refuse to acknowledge that

Beating the most over hyped fighter of the last 25 years in Broner isn't that impressive. The only people I was impressed with is the judges for choosing not to rob Maidana in that fight.

Maidana won decisively, he was also a 5-1 underdog, it was very impressive. Broner is still a very good fighter...just jumped up too quickly

    Broner is crap.

And I believe Brook was a bigger underdog against Porter than Maidana was against hype job Broner.

:good The things he was saying was going to happen to Brook against Porter last week is actually true of Broner.

both are good wins. but i'd give the edge to Maidana. he's a better fighter than Porter.

Brook beating Porter was more convincing than Floyd beating Maidana though.

the Porter win made a bigger splash considering most picked Porter to win, and win by stoppage. Shawn was a beast a few days ago. whereas no one picked Marcos to come close to beating Floyd.

    No.

Maidana was around 1:5 while Brook was around 1:3.

    Maybe.

But wasn't Maidana a 10/1 underdog or so against Mayweather?

And Brook left his own comfort zone, fought on foreign soil, defeated an undefeated fighter coming of the best 2 wins of his career, by what most consider a wider margin as the underdog. Plus Porter's best wins at 147 outranked Maidana's best wins at 147.

Pretty sure if it was Brook that beat Maidana, and Mayweather that beat Porter, you a would still say Maywaether has the better win....
