marquez showed that with a level playing field, he was always the superior fighter.
both on PEDS, both got kd's marquez' kd of pac was more impressive with that overhand right that made pac's eyes roll back.
then that one punch that flattened pac for MINUTES...
    no contest...marquez over sergio

Marquez KO over Pac was epic. The way Pac ran into that punch and when face down reminded me of Apollo getting KO by Drago in Rocky 4. "Throw in the towel, throw in the damn towel"....lol

it wasn't a "hail mary" quintana beat williams all night with it the night he dethroned him.
    it's called a BLUEPRINT.

The conversation is not about Quintana, but if you want to go there, then why didn't the blueprint work for the second fight. As for Martinez, IMO it was a hail Mary and that's why I like the Pac knockout better. The Paul Williams knockout was dramatic in that Paul bent in the knees first and then folded like a cheap suit. Big Drama. However, the Pac knockout was brutal and uncompromising. That right hand was sent from hell and delivered with the intent to do great bodily harm. It was immediate LIGHTS OUT!!!!

Sergio's shot sounded like a gun went off in the arena. His hit William's so hard his brain forgot to tell his eyes to close.

I have to go with Marquez' knock out of Pacquiao. That was a punch for the ages. People were worried about Paul Williams but the feeling at the time when Pacquiao got slept was more like a concern that he might have died. I think Pacquiao was unconscious for longer too.
