Pac and Floyd are both supposed to be cherrypickers but in my opinion neither of them have easy fights in front off them. Cotto comes off an impressive win where he avenged a defeat, and Bradley is a skilled and rough opponent with no losses behind him. Since it is nowadays is set in stone that Pac cant box Bradley should have a chance to tear into him.

Who do you think made the better choice?

Cotto is the tougher fight for Mayweather than Bradley is for Pac.

Cotto is a tougher opponent-Loss in 12 to Pac or not-at 154, Cotto would be comfortable and would not struggle with the weight.

Floyd movin up in weight too which is a small battle in itself.

This. Bradley has a good shot at beating Pacquiao, will be interesting to see the odds.

They are both very good fights indeed. Pacquiao especially is at risk of losing.

I'd say each one suits the opponent better than the reverse would. Cotto is a higher caliber fighter, so I think he's the better opponent.

 That explains a few things.( sorry brother, couldn't resist)

As for the topic at hand, I don't give either guy a very good chance against the favorite.

I guess i would have to say Cotto is a better opponent, simply because Mayweather will be moving up to his comfort weight, he has the power to hurt Mayweather, and Mayweather is not the offensive force that Pacquiao is. To me, Cotto may, just may be able to bag some rounds by outworking him.

I like Bradley a lot as a fighter, he's savvy, adaptable, and seems to be able to impose his will on guys, but I don't think he has the power to seriously deter Pacquiao, will be at a speed disadvantage and despite having fought above 140, probably hasn't felt power like Pacquiao's.

You are spot on. Now you know why I dont reply to some posts, miss out on other peoples argument, and flat out deny that my heroes have any flaws. Marquez DID NOT land many good counters on Pac.

You are blind, you missed the rest of my post!

You'd probably make an excellent judge.

I am happy for Tim Bradley. He deserves a good payday and he has a good shot at the upset. Pac hasnt been the same in recent fights.

Tim isnt a big name opponent and is not a ppv numbers draw. but he is a solid fighter and will give Pac hell.

I'm happy for Cotto as well. He's a badass and will come to fight. I dont know what he has left in the tank.

    Both are good fights!
