Well given the fight would be at 160 and Jones is one of the fastest hardest punchers in history at that weight..........

When Jones fought his Duran (Paz) he showed he didn't even need chin or heart to beat him. And that's worth more than two in the bush than Ray can keep in his hand. He showed the heart against Calzaghe, obviously though. Most guys woulda quit.

This is a lot like the Hearns vs. Mayweather comparison. One guy fought better guys and proved more which is Ray. It is hard to compare.. Roy was great, but Ray proved it against the elites..

    Defense is the major difference.

Ray has excellent standard defense, head movement, lateral movement, infighting defense and ducking skill.

Roy may have an advantage in power and slightly in speed but both are negligible because in the big fights Leonard’s speed saw him defeat greater fighters using his own power and speed more effectively.

Did you just equate Vinny Paz to Roberto Duran?

Specifically the Vinny Paz that fought RJJ?

Vinny Paz has nowhere near as many credentials or skills as Roberto Duran.

Some people are shot at 22, and some people are competing at a high level at 45. Just saying the number of someone's age, as all of science could tell, is really not that good of an argument about their health and physical performance and exercise capacity. I'm sure you know that and are just trolling me though. But I'll bite and reply, I guess. (shrugs)

So are you telling me Duran had been competing at a high level, in the three years leading up to the Vinny Paz fight?

I know what I watched when I actually used my eyes and brain and watched their fights together. Maybe you should watch them too, if you have trouble grasping my comments but no real argument to be stated.
