Nelson by some way. The best African fighter ever who could pretty much do anything in the ring. Three weight champion. I used to love Norris as a kid but his management were pretty careful in picking big name, smaller fighters to pad his record. He didn't have the punch resistance or temperament to compare to a real ATG like Azumah Nelson.
As per consensus I go for Azumah. He was a great fighter whereas Terry comes into the very good category in my opinion. The former had more all round skill and was dominant for considerably longer.
Nelson and Norris is like earth and jupiter,Jupiter is bigger but contains air, unlike earth who's small but contains many things that other planets don't.
Nelson by a landslide he moved up through multiple weights and faced many more prime dangerous fighters than Norris. I like watching Norris but he feasted on shot fighters and blown up Welterweights. The only correct answer is Nelson not even debatable for me.
Azumah. Gave the great Salvador Sanchez a hell of a fight in his 1st big fight. Completely destroyed Wilfredo Gomez in front of his hometown. Struggled in some fights (notably Fenech and Mario Martinez) but dominated them in returns. Iron chinned warrior who was consistent for 12 years in 2 weight divisions. Norris was fun to watch but needed a win over a quality in form natural light-middle like Julian Jackson or McCallum to be called an ATG. The Jackson demolition, the 1st Simon Brown loss, struggle with Troy Waters and 2 disqualification losses really hamper his greatness.
