Paul Williams is tested.... Juanma keeps knocking guys out in 2 rounds and had a poor outing vs Mtagwa.

Not really comparable at this point.

paul beat better opposition at this point, martinez winky

juanma has beat decent oposition but already a two weight titlist, he is one of my fav current fighters, if he beats marquez gamoa and vasquez i will rank him higher p4p then williams

Yeah I agree. Williams has beaten a lot of top fighters. I love Juanma but I am waiting for him to step up the competition. But then again I am sure Arum will make a lot more money for Juanma then Williams' handlers.

I'd say they are about equal with an edge to Paul based on opposition.

They're about even but i'll give the edge to williams right now but not a big edge and after the marquez fight juanma might over take him depending on how he looks. They are both champions in two weight classes so that's even. Williams lost one time but avenged the lost and juanma is undefeated. Juanma has looked more dominant except the mtgwa fight but williams has fought the better opposition up till now. Now if you look at williams career every time he steps up in competition he's not as dominant. Havent yet see him dominate a top fighter easily. Hopefully williams get to fight a top contender soon because he's wasting the best yrs of his career and by the time he gets a top fight he'll be over the hill if he keeps wasting time

Paul easy with wins over Marge, martinez, winky, quintana, Mitchell, Phillips.
Now that I write that out and look at it I see how ridiculous this thread is.

Your kidding right? There's no way you can compare resumes. The fact that you even attempted to do so is pathetic. Paul avenged his only loss by 1st round ko. He beat marge, winky, and Phillips. The Martinez fight could have gone either way but he got the nod. How can you hold that against him after seeing what Martinez did to pavlik. That should only help his case.
Paul is tested juanma is not. You can make all the projections you want but who knows how he will do against top notch comp? He may fail misarably. He may not.
