You must have misread because I didn't compare resumes. If you read correctly you would have saw that I said that you saying the comparison is a joke after naming a few of Paul's opponents is inaccurate and ridiculous. You didn't account for the way the fights took place, or the fact that he actually loss to one of the fighters you named. I did also say that I thought Paul was rated higher, but Juanma has an opportunity to surpass him with the fights he has lined up. Paul should be rated higher but the gap between the two is no way near as wide as you are trying to make it appear.

    You're right.. it's wider.

Paul can be a serious threat and competitor to all (not some) but all of the top guys from 147 to 160... Right now. He can take a fight with anyone from 147 to 160 and he going to be a serious threat.

That is pound for pound... In the truest sense.

let's look at williams resume.. he has four names in his resume that are good and that's it.. quintana who he lost to but avenged that lost impressively, winky wright who was old and coming of a lost but still a good win.. margarito who he beat easily the first six rds and the slow down and let margarito into the fight and i had that fight even in my scorecard but is margaritos fault for not throwing more and martinez who he clearly lost to and got his ass kicked except on the score sheets.. martinez fought williams with his hands down almost the entire fight and still wasnt getting hit flush but in boxing we have inept judges.. i think juanma has been a lot more dominant in his career and after a couple of more good names in his resume he'll surpass williams easily..

Clearly Paul Williams. Juanma needs time and more great victories against quality opposition. Right now he has build up a KO artist fame but it is not enough.

It's Paul now, but Juanma's catching up.

I don't see it being a vast disparity, either. Williams has a couple better wins at the top end, but it's not like Juanma's been destroying nothing but bums, either. If he takes out Marquez and one or two other tough fighters (Gamboa would get him there in a hurry if he could pull tha off), I'd have no problem ranking Lopez in the same range as the Punisher.

Because juanma has defeated much better comp, right. He hasn't even fought any of his contemporaries. And id bet on Gamboa anyway.

PW looked pathetic against Quintana in the first fight. JuanMa probably knocks Mtagwa out early rounds in a rematch. JuanMa will come to form at 126lbs.

Paul Williams by a very thin SD.

Although PW is highly regarded he really doesn't have huge wins. The margarito one being the biggest.
    Winky looked terrible.
Phillips hmmm that's not really a big win.
    Quintana is avg ar best.
Martinez well I gave it to Martines and so did most people.
Cintron he got a gift in. No way he won but then again the puto didn't deserve it either.
JML also doesn't have very big wins.
    Penalosa was small.
    Ponce was one dimensional.
    Concepcion was no one.

Both really have **** resumes for how high they are regarded.
