Why does it matter? Neither will be considered defining wins in the grand scheme of things

Probably MAB, he was just smaller. If Ruiz was the same size relative to what MAB was to Khan, it wouldn't have gone 1 round.

Ruiz is a complete warlock. I lost a bit of money betting on him but when the team/player you bet on digs in that deep, you dont give a flying **** if you lost.

    Why are you LOLing?

That was one of the most disgraceful fights I've seen, don't try to make it seem reasonable by comparing Barrera to Ruiz.

    Ruiz, for the following reasons:

    - his abilities were broadly the same as they'd always been
    - he was fighting a guy the same size as himself, who he also outweighed
    - he was fighting in his natural weight-class
    - he hadn't sustained a bad cut in his previous fight.

Barrera is just seriously faded and, due to the disparity in size and speed at a weight he was too small for, the win has little value.

Can we please stop talking about Ruiz in the same breath as MAB. Ruizs career will always be that after being incredibly boring and exposing a generation of heavies he toughed it out with a heavy hitter.

Ruiz, he was still near the top of the division the fight took place at.
