ive cursed many a fighter by watching them live.... when my guys fight i either go to the gym, go to the movies or do something to fill in that time slot... then rush home and watch the replay... im turning my phone off for this fight tho.... my one friend who likes boxing texts me the updates but i cant afford to know... gotta keep the ritual pure

    NAH!!!...

paul stays far away from winky peppering him with punches up top when winky closes up paul mixes it up to the body... then when winky tries to counter ... eat one or two to give away 3 or 4... winky will be right infront of paul all night seeing how he doesnt bounce around a lot... me moves laterally and vertically but not diagonally or bounce around... so the target should be there for paul to hit all night... paul just cant get caught up in exchanging to often and eat up to much leather... as long as he keeps his guns blazing winky should have trouble.... there really shouldnt be any way that winky can "OUT SHOOT" paul in a gun slinging contest if you get the picture im trying to paint.... atleast thats how i envision the fight...

****... you'd be surprised... everyone expects pw to win... so im PISSED if he loses.... ive been watching winky all weekend and if paul beats winky.... regardless of winky's performance... in my mind winky would have always struggled with pw's style
i concur... regardless of how he effects pw.... i just dont like how he handles his business

You know, it isn't the hair cut, you have to shave your balls if you want PW to win. If you don't do it and he loses, you have no one to blame but yourself. :yep

Put some blame on Goosen. People in Pavlik's camp say he was already preparing for PW when Goosen dropped it. Arum must have thought it was a done deal if he had Pavlik training for that fight, so I believe it was Goosen the screwed it up. After that, Arum didn't want to deal with Goosen because he had screwed him over.

I really like both fighters.True professionals who are willing to get it on with the best.I damn sure don't buy into the whole most feared or avoided by either man,but still top fighters.
For me its too hard to tell the victor with Winks inactivity. If this is the same Wink that fought Taylor I'd say Wink 8-4 possible 11th or 12th stoppage but you never can tell how a long layoff will affect a fighter his age.

i would be extremely surprised if that happened...

what you have to understand are

    margarito losing to mosley
    pavlik losing to bhop

margarito & pavlik arent very multi dimensional fighters... they are not tough cookies to solve and they dont rely on their skill really.... they just bludgeon you until you get ko'd.... paul throws a variety of punches and fights with multiple styles... so he wouldnt be as easy a puzzle to crack

Williams well under the limit is not a surprise: his trainer said he had to pack a few pounds but he didn't want him to be 160 to avoid being sluggish. Very smart move IMO. He'll keep his speed and mobility which is important against a 37yo guy. I'm sure he can make 147 again but I keep wondering where he hides his weight

Williams got huge body frame that even at 160 lbs he looked thin.I think he can go up to LHW and still carry the weight well.

If Paul loses, he can go back down to 154, and clean out the division. No harm; no foul; everyone will respect the fact that he stepped up and fought a hall of fame level fighter in a division he has really only flirted with in the past.

If Paul wins, he is absolutely ****ed:deal

Judges have already filled out their cards for their favorite, Williams. Williams would never have taken this fight if he thought that Winky was like his old self.

I hope Arreola and McCline cried after they saw how in shape Williams and Wright looked to be. That's actually pretty big for Winky if you think about it...his last fight was a catchweight fight at 170 and that was about 2-3 years ago. Injuries and age should've made him a lil heavy but he looks to be in great shape.

As per what'll happen with Williams? Williams has already lost so it's not like he's some undefeated unproven prospect. If he loses, chances are he can just step back down to 154 and have some outstanding fights with the up and comers there. Something about Williams-Sergio Martinez seems interesting. Also don't be surprised if the Sturm people come sniffing around the wounded animal looking for a kill shot. They may view a loss to Winky as "proof" of an easy fight for Felix.
