Better puncher? Bowe or Wlad Klitschko?

He used to let it go more, for sure. I wish he hooked out of clinches like he used to. :-( He certainly has enough opportunities to.

Wlad is greater in terms of one punch power and handspeed. Bowe was willing to throw a greater variety of shots, and exchange more on the inside.

 

He hit Ray Austin with 4 hooks at the same time. Ya'll musta forgot!

 

Yeah pretty much what I thought. I did read but I didn't sign in. Thanks for your comments! Too bad Magnassaki didn't show up. But I told him pretty much everybody thought Wlad punched harder but Bowe punched better.

 

Wlad was better one punch but Bowe was a serious hitter in his own right ... I'd pick Bowe as a harder hitter that Vitali

 

It's crazy when I think how tough Ray was for Stiverne and that guy probably fights Vitali this year!

 

I can get behind that too. But I think young Vitali isn't far behind Bowe there.

Riddick telegraphs his shots, but they are very heavy, strong punches.

He works really well inside as well. Great uppercut, real jackhammer shot.

Wlad hits a lot harder with every shot he hit me with, though. Riddick boxes a bit more fluid, and you have to worry about more punches in more ranges, but Wlad can drop a horse with long range punches, and its not like its all that feasible to get into a range where those aren't dangerous. It'd take an elite man to get inside on that guy, work, and not get wrapped up.

I'd say its pretty close. I'd say Wlad, because I found him harder and more painful to deal with, but Riddick definitely had a larger quantity of weapons, and could fight on the in.

 

Vlad hit harder with either hand and has a better jab as well. I was impressed with Bowe as a light-heavyweight watching him win the NY golden gloves but he then moved up to heavyweight and won a DQ over Lou Saverese as a heavyweight he got fatter and fatter and lazier and lazier and he got hit too often...Bowe always had power but was not as effective and he could have been and he did not hit like Vlad but Bowe also had a poor defense

 

Id say Wlad hit harder outside, Bowe on the inside
