Better Record at HW, Haye or Adamek?

Bell was robbed too. no questions left who was the better man after their two fights also Bell would have ko´ed him easily for a second time but the timekeeper ***** just rang the bell whenever Mormeck was hurt.. Valuev got toons of giftdecisions besides the Haye fight.

 

Golota is a better win than Barrett, who is basically in free fall now.

Estrada and Ruiz are about equal. Ruiz is 3-4 in his last seven, but his losses are to Valuev, Haye and Chagaev, still it does show decline, especially since Valuev also appears to be getting worse with every outting since Chagaev. Estrada has shown some really good boxing ability, but he lacks power. That said I might favor Estrada over Ruiz now because he would simply outslick him.

Arreola seems to be more dangerous than Valuev, I simply could not see Arreola looking as bad versus Holyfield as Valuev did.

So actually, when I think about it, Adamek has the slightly better resume.

 

Golota > Ruiz my arse.

golota has never won a title, lost to ruiz somehow, and somehow manages to lose fights from unloseable positions. And golota is far, far, far more shot right now than ruiz.

Arreola > Valuev is laughable as well. I'm far from a fan of Valuev, but Arreola is a myth. witherspoon and a ****ing old McCline are his 'signature' wins.
Arreola thinks not standing in front of him and actually avoiding punches is cheating.

Barrett is shot now, yeah.

Plus 2 of hayes fights were for the WBA belt, and he won both.


Having said that, I'd say both of these guys have proven that ANY fighter at or around the 200 pound mark with decent skills, speed and/or power are a chance of beating any of the current fat, limited heavyweights - with the exception probably of the 2 Klitchko's.

And even then they're probably a chance. More so than most recent challengers.

 

When Adamek was looking for his 3rd foe, everyone discouraged the idea of guys like Peter, Arreola, Solis. Just before the fight it went for 50-50 chances as a result of almost all poll votings. And after the fight Arreola is considered to be a total bum.

Who the hell cares about these damn paper belts? If an organzisation names Ruiz as the mandatory challenger, what is the piece of crap worth?
Same thing for beltholder Valuev who was schooled by Chagaev and got the crap back without fighting him again. Golota beat Ruiz. That Ruiz cartoon who can neither clinch nor throw uppercuts was some bum. Arreola is a dangerous fighter and Adamek took the fight as a huge underdog. Valuev is slow like hell and far away from being a danger also he was outboxed various times before.

 

Before the fight, Arreola was a total bum.

Like most people, I could see Adamek was far more skilled and fitter than Arreola. the only question was whether or not the size/power difference would be too much.

It wasn't.

Arreola isn't even a huge, 1 punch KO fighter either. I think Adamek (unless he gets caught) has MORE chance against fighters like that - fat, slow, relying on crude, good but not great power - then he does against the other smaller, faster heavies.

Chambers has proved with a bit of speed and skill, you can beat most of the slugs in the heavy division. Adamek I think can do the same.

It's a good win without doubt. I just think Arreola is built up to be more than he is.
Adamek is no mug, without doubt.

 

Valuev > Arreola. These are their best wins.
Ruiz > Golota. Their second best wins.
Estrada = Barrett. Both are terrible.


Haye definetly has the better wins at heavyweight. I can't see how any objectve fan thinks Arreola is a bigger win than Valuev.

 

For sure Arreola is not a "bigger" win than Valuev, still more valuable

 

Jesus, when you people wake up and understand that Arreola is total **** - he is around the level of Monte Barret and would lose to Valuev and Ruiz.

Estrada and Ruiz are aboutl equal. Estrada is clearly the fresher and better boxer at this point, but Ruiz hasn't been losing to bums. I think I'd favor Estrada to outslick Ruiz at this point though as Ruiz looks to be in decline.

Valuev is clearly in decline. Like all giants he is not aging well, witness Shaq spending a third of the basketball season on the bench for the last five years. Arreola is no great shakes, but I simply cannot see him looking as bad against Holyfield or Bergeron as Valuev did.

 

No he is not around the level of Barret. I don't rate Arreola that highly, but he'd demolish Monte, and would beat Ruiz, who is in serious decline. I don't know about Valuev, but the man looked his best against Chagaev and has looked steadily worse since.

 

I TOLD Y'ALL! I told y'all Adamek was too skilled to lose to that big, fat, uncoordinated Arreola.

 

Yeah, Arreola isn't a good fighter. Big puncher, good chin, impressive stamina but that's it. He has very limited skills. Valuev would probably beat him in a stinker.

 

He is a carefully managed hype job given TV exposure to appeal to the Americian-Mexican people.

Have you seen the mandatories for all of the belts lately? they're all farcical.

What's a belt worth if Snowsowski or whatever the **** he's called can get a fight. Mandatory or voluntary - that's an appalling mismatch.

Arreola is a dangerous fighter based on what?
Beating Chazz witherspoon and an ancient mcCline? or getting the tar beaten out of him by Vitali?

Seriously. Why is Arreola rated any higher than around 10th in the heavy division?

No idea what the odds were for the fight. Wasn't interested in betting on it as I wasn't going to watch it live. If I could have got any money on adamek paying more than something like 3/2 I would have bet.

Valuev can't have been outboxed 'various' times. He's lost twice.

and has a far, far better resume than Arreola.
