How many 130 pounders were top 5 pfp in your lifetime?

I fail to see how that has any relevance. He was top 5 P4P once, for less than a year. That's not an all-time great lmao.

And just to really prove how stupid that argument is, I think there's been four since 2003. Loma, Marquez, Pacquiao and Barrera. Possibly Morales and Stevenson too.

Corrales is an all-time great but Foreman isn't?

Marquez and Pac were bonafide ATGs. Lomachenko arguably is but he left 126/130 quickly. Barrera is borderline.

Corrales left pfp because of how badly he lost to Floyd, but went on to beat Freitas, Casamayor, and Castillo. Btw he won the best fight ever filmed. Put respect on the man’s name.

NoNeck, what on Earth are you talking about?

You asked me for top 5 P4Pers at 130 in my life time, and I just gave you four, possibly six, I didn't check. How does that prove Corrales is an all-time great? Frietas, Casamayor and Castillo do not make an all-time great. Not does winning wars, or else Gaspar Ortega and Arturo Gatti would be #1 & #2.

In as straightforward a manner as I can ask: Why is Corrales an ATG but Foreman isn't?

If not for Floyd, Corrales would’ve destroyed Genaro Hernandez on the date he lost to Floyd and gone undefeated until Castillo cheated him on the scales. You’d be worshipping him.

Corrales was a complete fighter who went on a tear and quickly regained a championship after losing to Floyd. Foreman did no such thing after losing to Ali.

Even if he was undefeated for another 10 fights, and beat Hernandez in the first round, he still wouldn't be all-time great. If you haven't noticed, I don't even worship Floyd and he did a lot more than Corrales  (also, there's no "if not for Floyd", I could say "if not for Ali, Foreman would've been champ until 1978 with half a dozen defences or more and you'd worship him).

Also, Foreman beat much better fighters than Corrales ever did before, went undefeated for longer, then became the oldest heavyweight champ ever, 20 years after he lost it. So coming back quickly after a brutal loss is ATG stuff, but coming back and rewinning the title after 20 years isn't? That's not even mentioning how much easier it is to win a title at 130 in the 2000s than it is a heavyweight title in the 70s.

Corrales would be great in any 130/135 era.

Foreman wouldnt be great in today’s era.

Why should he, is another debate, with an awful lot to consider.

The fact is, he has claimed that Floyd beat a prime ATG, when he did not.

Here's the thing, though. In the real world, not your imagination, Foreman was great in his own era and Corrales wasn't great in his.
