David Haye has had seven fights at heavyweight, against the following boxers: Dereck Chisora - dominated him like no other heavyweight ever managed to do, including Fury, Helenius or Klitschko. Wladimir Klitschko - lost a decision against the #1 hw in the world Audley Harrison - ridiculous fight, but still an easy win over a former olympic gold medalist; and Harrison seems to be having quite a comeback here. John Ruiz - incredibly underrated due to his ugly fighting style; but since Tua nobody manhandled him the way Haye did. Nikolay Valuev - easily outpointed the giant with very little effort. Monte Barrett - no big win as it seems, but let's not forget what Barrett did to David Tua later on. Tomasz Bonin - don't know a thing about Bonin. In my opinion the seven best boxers Vitali has faced are the following: Chris Byrd - won most of the rounds but did not out-strike Byrd, quit after round 9. The punch stats sugggest the bout was fairly even. Dereck Chisora - see below Lennox Lewis - won 4 of the 6 rounds which is a great achievement but failed to get the job done and lost fair and square. Lewis coming off a one year lay off at age 38. Kirk Johnson - big win, would be a huge win had Johnson not come in hella fat. Corrie Sanders - very good win; but I feel Sanders in overrated after his win over Wladimir. Sanders just never was that great to begin with. R.I.P. Samuel Peter - good win, but Peter had already been deteriorating for quite a while. He was much better against Wladimir because he did not give a **** about boxing, he was a genuine fighter back then. Chris Arreola - good win, dominated him. But Arreola is as one dimensional as it gets. I do not count the Solis and Adamek fights in this very context because I would argue Adamek simply does not belong in the heavyweight division at all and the Solis fight ended due to a freak accident. Dereck Chisora is a common opponent of the two. David dominated and stopped him whereas Vitali, to be frank, went life and death with him. Who has the better resume at HW?
