That's not saying much. It seems like it's not too hard to be a legend in in the U.K is Eubank is one.

you lot make me **** ... " just imagine what taylor did to lacy "!!!! did you ****ing see what calzaghe did ?i aint seen lacy taylor but i bet it wasnt the classic performance that joe gave, that was an unbelievable display of the fine art at its best, everyone who saw it knew it.
now i'm only guessing but my guess is taylor gave a solid performance on saturday, but not one that people will be talking about for years

Say what you want, he took the fight on short notice and had to cut a lot of weight. Hence, I rate the Lacy win ahead of that win. Let's not also forget that Lacy was undefeated and one of the top guys in the divsion. Eubank was past his best and wasn't even fighting at SMW at that point anymore.

Taylor won 11 rounds and landed over 200 punches compared to 75 for Lacy. Calzaghe beat him worse, but Calzaghe is a natural SMW. Taylor was basically coming up in weight and was coming off of two losses. You're bragging about what Calzaghe would do to Cory Spinks, who fights several divsions below Calzaghe. Meanwhile, Taylor came up in weight and dismantled a guy that is considered one of Calzaghe's best wins.

Kessler is a good win in my book. Jones Jr. is shot and anyone without being bias can see that. Eubank like others have said, had to cut 20 lbs. off in 2 weeks. Reid, Brewer, Mitchell and Woodhall are a little worse than Spinks, Ouma, Joppy, Bunema and Marquez.

Taylor went on to beat former young Champs like Spinks, Ouma and Joppy who was just past it but not too far removed from his prime. These were all champs if that's how you want to slice it. Might I add that Bunema and Marquez were champs as well.

I don't know what your problem is, you started talking trash about me first. I was having a civilized discussion until you came around with more of your nonsense. Eubank is not a legend. If he's considered a legend by British standards, then that's sad. Calzaghe, Lewis, Fitzsimmons, those guys are British legends.

A better resume doesnt exclude the fighters that a fighter lost to or drew with and once you add Pavlik and Wright which you should have done it closes the gap. This is really stupid to argue for one simple reason...Calzaghe fans and Haters arent going to be unbiased. I know that im not in the Joe fan club, but I think that Im being unbiased somewhat here. However you guys keep bring up names of fighters that just arent that good...**** Brewer was knockedout in the fight before his fight with Joe, Woodhall??? Really??? Woodhall was OUTCLASSED in a big way by Keith Holmes and knocked out who is a middleweight and once again not that good. Joe resume is weak, it got better in the last few years but its not enough to overcome the first 35-40 fights were it was one of the weakest if not the weakest of any fighter ever that is being touted as an ATG.

Aside from Joppy, none of them were middleweight champions. If you think Maequez and Bunema (who was never a world champion at any weight) are better than Reid, Brewer and Mitchell then that is fair enough, but i think you are completely wrong on that one. Ouma and Spinks are also nothing opponents at middleweight, and he barely scraped past them.

Okay, i'm going to see if i can get fights with all of the current Ring p4p top 10, get my arse handed to me and then claim that i have the best resume in boxing at the moment.

Nobody is saying Woodhall is any good, but he is better than shite like Marquez and Bunema.
