funny how people are saying mayweather's resume is better but for some reason mayweather is always getting criticized on this site and everyone seems to love calzaghe on this site... u give a guy no credit that continually jumped out of his weight class to fight champs but herald other guys for doing it.... look at manny paquia .. he defeats one weak champ in lightweight division and now he is the greatest ever.. love this site

both weak compared to the credit they get, but easy floyds is better than calzaghe but even floyds is miles from all time great status. You'll never hear anyone say these two guys beat everybody anybody thought was somebody.

Manny Pacquiao has always been highly regarded and it wasn't because of his last fight, the support and praise has always been here based on extremely major wins people didn't expect.

I'll also say that Mayweather's resume is not level's above Calzaghe's like some would think, it's clearly much better, but by about 2 points instead of 5 points.

It's embarassing when people rate Mayweather in the top 40 ATG area, above the likes of DLH, who actually fought many elite fighters, Mayweather fought 0 prime elite fighters.

    How?

How many world champions has he fought? ... its under 10 ...

and Miguel Cotto who's career has spanned 1/2 as long as Calzaghe's has 10.

Who other than Ali has fought ever top fighter that their division has had to offer?

Even in alot of cases you have great fighters who got their clout of 1 or 2 notable fights.

Don't jump to conclusions and act as if 1 fighter is able to fight the best that their respected division(s) have to offer.

Hey dip****, did I not just post that Mayweather's resume is better in that post? Or were you just fixating on the fact that I said it's not 'level's above', which it isn't, due to lacking a real elite level fighter on it, which is not wholly his fault.

    So let me re-post -

Mayweather's resume is clearly much better, but by 2 points and not 5 points like some would think.

I wish some of you embarassing **** posters would learn how to read correctly and extract information from text.:good

    Fitz was doing this earlier

You'd make a completely coherent post, and he'd either pick up on a fairly low key point, or just make something completely random and unrelated up

He has the debating skills of a demented chimp.

    calzaghe fought kessler and hopkins?

In my view he has 2 quality wins. The rest of the guys he fought (yes including manfredy lacy etc.) should have been easy wins.

Mayweather has a bunch despite calls that he avoids people.
