Better resume Calzaghe or Mayweather?

    Why? What's the point? Are you adking this because you don't know? Or because you want people to kiss up on Mayweather and diss Calzaghe? This is pointless because Calzaghe's resume is terribly weak, and everyone knows that. Scale 0f 1-10, Mayweather's resume is around 7, while Joe's is maybe a 4.

    you're a straight up hater. why did you start this thread? to see what people thought on the issue at hand? get real.

    you know full well that floyd's resume is better and that the majority on this board agree. so you set this thread up with the hope of baiting a few calzaghe fans out and hope the rest of the let's hate on joe calzaghe circle jerk come out to join in.

    Thats ridiculous ... Calzaghe is waay too big for that fight to even make sense.

    Calzaghe is a great fighter ... those 21 title defenses are amazing ... but i'm not going to give him much clout over PBF or Pac or even Cotto ... because his resume is full of fillers -- even though he's done the damn thing in his championship fights - he hasn't fought anyone of note in a up until now has been the weakest division in boxing next to the junior middleweight division.

    In or around Mayweather's weight class hell no --

    There is no way 48 people voted for Floyd, and only 7 Calzaghe in any reasonable world

    I'm convinced machines are taking over this poll. They are created by Calzaghe haters, and vote for the other guy, regardless of how illogical

    One solution would be to make all users input a code from an image before posting or voting, like say Rapidshare.

    I never start a thread to hate ...

    I'm definitely not a Calzaghe hater ... I have many of his fights on tape and consider myself a fan but i'm not going to overrate him like others are doing.

    And in comparison two a fighter who I consider great - why not compare him to a guy as of late who has been getting alot of ATG consideration on these boards.

    I think that Calzaghe is the greatest 168lb'er that the division has ever seen. (I base that on longevity and time spent in the division)

    I'm as big a fan of Calzaghe as there is (OK, maybe not CHJ level, but ch'no), but the 7 people who voted Joe want taking out and flogging.

    Floyd Mayweather Junior. NO question.

    i know full well mayweather has the better resume and that point isn't up for debate.

    like you said earlier, his intentions were to get people to kiss floyd and diss joe.
