Such a negative question. Why bother asking it?

Calzaghe and this is about as stupid a question as the Monzon,Calzaghe thread.

Ottke was WBA/WBC supermiddle champion of the world and retired undefeated with 36-0 i think. however ottke fought exclusively in germany and was given dodgy home decisions aswell as help from the referees. Also rather than trying to unify the division he retired rather than facing Lacy or Calzaghe.

Calzaghe held the WBO supermiddle belt for over ten years before finally beating rival champion jeff lacy for the IBF/ring magazine belts and went onto fight Mikkell kessler for Ottkes old WBA/WBC belts thus unifying the division. he then moved up to light heavy and won the ring magazine light heavy title by beating the divisions top fighter and defended it against former p4p king roy jones jr before retiring 46-0, 3 fights short of marcianos 49-0.

    Calzaghe by miles!

When he retired, Ottke had the better resume.....then Calzaghe zoomed past him by beating Lacy & Kessler.

Up until the JC fought Lacy, Kessler, BHOP and RJJ it was about the same but clearly JC has the better record since his retirement. I dont know much about Sven's amateur career but some one was saying it was very good.

  10. Joe's last few years saved him but ONLY just...... Both have pretty shitty resumes

Calzaghe followed by Ottke then Hopkins after that.

This is correct. I thought Ottke was going to burst into tears,he looked to the ref every 15 seconds for assistance.

That one was a real downfall, but don“t blame Sven, blame the referee...

Besides Reid made the fight real dirty...
