I love Cotto and hate Floyd, but overall resumes are very good. I can't really pick.

Please. I may hate Floyd but I give credit where it is due. One thing that stand out with Cotto is that he fought Pac and Margarito recently.

I'll be taking a trip over to BoxRec to refresh my memory.

Exactly. I'm a huge Cotto fan but it's clearly Mayweather here.

Guys hate Mayweather so much that any logic goes out the window- at ESB last year all these guys were saying that Mosley's resume is better b/c he lost to Winky Wright. Ridiculous.

Besides the big names, there's Angel Manfredy, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Diaz- guys who only decent but true boxing fans know were damn good fighters.

Only with Mayweather is a defeating in succession De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto being a *****.

This is basically the argument does Floyds record at 130-135 make up for having a much weaker record than Cotto at 140+.

    This.

FMJr. has the better resume but Cotto is more accomplished. What do I mean, he fought anyone and everyone when "others" ducked them.

    War Cotto!

The only reason Clottey lasted that long and had some success was due to the MASSIVE cut over Miguel's eye which was caused by a HEADBUTT!!!

That is the only reason. Miguel was owning that azz.

If Cotto would not been taken advantage off the 1st Margarito fight, how far would he had gone??? He may be undefeated today? Who the fugg knows!

The Pac fight...this was at Pac ABSOLUTE BEST/PEAK! Pac was a monster! I bet you that at full 147, with a "real" corner and plan Miguel would have come on top! He still had the ghost of Margarito combined with the lost of his father, and family problems with his uncle/traineer!

Fugg the haters! Cotto was cheated, and taken advantage off with the catch weight BS!

    War Cotto!

    Guerra Puertorro!!!

    Mayweather top 5 opponents:

    Hernandez W
    Corales W
    ODLH W
    Hatton W
    Cotto W

    Cotto top 5 opponents
    Judah W
    Mosley W
    Margarito L,W
    Pacquaio L
    Mayweather L

I would give to slight edge to Floyd
