well if thats the case cotto also arguably lost to mosley and clottey, so i guess its now 37-4 to 42-1...your logic is plain stupid....

Brother, haters are going to hate! Cotto gets lots of hate here and on BS.com insane! Most by Margarito fanatical fans, and others just because he is that good and had that much potential. Ill say on a Roger MW voice "they dont know **** about boxing!"

On a serious note, what would have been Miguel's career if he would not been cheated by Margarito and the Pac fight would have been under diferent circustances????

    :think

Definately Mayweather. Mayweather has beaten better fighters at 154, 147, and arguably 140. You also have his work at 130 and 135. Cotto, has a damn good resume and is probably going to be a HOFer. However, his resume doesn't stack up to Mayweather's

The only reason Clottey lasted that long and had some success was due to the MASSIVE cut over Miguel's eye which was caused by a HEADBUTT!!!

That is the only reason. Miguel was owning that azz.

Watch the fight until the cut.......you'll see the light. Even with the cut....Migule owned that azz!

I love Cotto, and have a grudging respect for Mayweather, but can see that Mayweather takes this. His work in the lower weights, plus Oscar and Cotto provide a much broader range of accomplishments.

That said, Cotto will always have the respect of being a people's champion: a take all comers warrior who gave the fans exciting fights. You can't say the same about Mayweather.

How many HOF has Cotto beat? Now how many HOF has Mayweather beat?

Mayweather has a better and deeper resume. He's also more accomplished.

by the looks of your avatar i know theres no used discvussing this with you, miguel has been stopped twice and cotto was no where close to owning clottey, cotto went into retreat in the later rounds as always, this was a fight he easily could have lost, the cut **** is just an excuse....

if thats the case i can say clottey's leg was injured because cotto illegally slammed him....

I haven't watched the Cotto/Clottey fight since it happened but from what I can remember it was Clottey that gave away the last few rounds by going into his shell mode. Giving Cotto a narrow win.

Take on all comers? When did he fight Paul Williams or Sergio?

You should rephrase. Take on all comers if the price is right and Arum says so
