Better resume: Cotto or Mayweather(Read before voting)

Who the **** cares what "belts" cotto fought for, the mother ****er fought everyone he could in his ****ing era. Stop being a bitter keyboard ***** warrior discrediting a fighters entire career. Dumb ass *****, fighters make the belts what they are, not the other way around.

There was a narrow window for Cotto to fight PW, in which time he was fighting OTHER LEGITIMATE champions in the division. PW eventually loses to Quintana who was flattened by Cotto and this basically losses steam and relevance especially for Cotto financially.

Sergio? Cotto is near the tail end of his career and can retire RIGHT NOW. He don't need Sergio for **** whos been at 160 for several years already, had he kept his ass down at 154lbs he would have had a say in fighting Cotto.

Look, I voted for Floyd here, but get real. Cotto has 10x the reputation Floyd does.

Floyd is known as the best to never fight the best and that sucks because he is a once in a generation talent.

 

Why didn't Floyd fight any of the names you listed? Pac, Margo, Pwill? Undefeated Cotto? Young Mosley? Martinez?

He would have been favored in all of them, yet they never happened.

 

I can answer you. First Margo? or Pwill? The only reason they are "considered" risky is because of their size and that they tower over Floyd but in reality are they really good? NO. Why would Floyd train 3 months to fight Paul or Margo? For what?? Less pay? are they stepping stones to bigger and better things? NO.

Floyd fought Oscar over Margo. A better fighter for 10 times more pay. Floyd is the star, He is going to fight who is on top bc THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ON TOP MAKE THE MOST MONEY. Floyd already pay his dues at the lower weights. WHY WOULD HE MOVE UP IN WEIGHT JUST SO HE CAN FIGHT CONTENDERS/UNKNOWN CHAMPS ALL OVER AGAIN? Which big star in the past goes backwards?!?

As for Cotto and Shane who both want nothing with Floyd. You should know this, not the other way around.

 

You want to say that margo didn't cheat fine...

But tell me who was margo and what did he accomplished for you to put him on a pedestal or tell me why cotto gets bonus points for competing against people in his weight class that he feels comfortble in.

 

I guess the question is: Why is Floyd singled out for not fighting Paul Williams when the only fighter who wanted to was Margarito?

The only person that wanted to fight Martinez was Williams.

People are way too hypocratic when it comes to FLoyd.

 

Cotto has been dominated by Pac,and Floyd. Margarito made him quit. Went life and death with Mosley in a razor thin fight...and that is his biggest win....He's a Top Rank creation.

Cotto was being singled out for fighting two guys Floyd never fought. I was just turning the tables on an obviously hypocritical poster.

The prevailing logic is that Floyd wins all hypothetical matchups so there is no reason to actually fight them. Funny because "Money" makes money fighting real fights, not hypotheticals.
