thats exactly what it is and i can't stand seeing dumbasses always questioning Floyd's resume who happens to be one of the greatest.

Did Oscar not recieve credit for beating Chavez? Didn't Oscar get credit for beating Whitaker?

But when Floyd wanted to fight cotto and Shane in their primes they were too scared and the dumbasses have the nerve to flip the script and say Floyd was the one ducking? For what? Floyd would've beating Shane and Cotto much worse in FLOYD'S prime days. Oh yeah, and Floyd gets questioned for his shane and cotto victories. is quite the bull.

Why didn't Cotto fight Floyd at 140?

    Young Mosley?
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3HkxRSP2G0[/ame]

Mosley wasn't young when Cotto got to him. He was 36 and 4-2 in his last 6 fights.

Cotto fought Pac...and got his ass whipped.

Floyd fought Baldomir for more money...

and no one fought PWill. You'd have to call out everyone except Margarito for ducking him.

I'm a fight tape junkie not a resume groupie like the majority of posters on esb, but Cotto(e), who is boxing's lovechild, is getting smacked pretty bad by Floyd in this poll.

Only about 1 out of 4 voters think Cotto(e) has the better resume

Watching that video brings back a lot of memories. Remember Mayweather wasn't considered a draw back then? How times have changed.

Mayweather's first PPV was against Gatti because Gatti was such a popular fighter. Now, Mayweather is the cash cow of boxing.

Please don't miss my point. Mayweather's resume is better, but Cotto gets more love as a "take all comers" fighter than Floyd ever will. Just fighting both Floyd and Pac seals that.

let's not forget.....after floyd knocked out an extremely over rated ricky hatton....and cotto beat shane mosley....the cotto/mayweather fight was prime!!! what did floyd do? that's right, he retired. his reason? "why should i fight all these guys? i'll let them fight each other and fight who ever is left standing. u guys are not going to give me credit anyway..." translation: i'm going to duck cotto and wait til someone else diminishes him to fight him. several years later...after cotto has been stopped by margacheato and pacroid....floyd decides to fight him and has THEE TOUGHEST FIGHT OF HIS CAREER!!!!

cotto has always had a style to give floyd fits. he's an intelligent fighter who has what it takes to beat floyd.

I'm not a fan of hypotheticals either. But people highlighting the fact that Floyd never fought Margarito and Williams either weren't watching boxing at the time or are just pulling **** out of their asses.

Oh is serious... BC apparantly Cotto fought MARGO that top notch fighter and Pac, it is apparantly enough to surpass all Floyd has done.

when was the last time floyd took on an opponent who was favored to beat him?

cotto has done that more than once.

i can't recall a single time in floyds career i didn't consider him the favorite. there were opponents out there that i would have favored over him if he fought them at the time...instead...he chose to retire and avoid real competition. it's much easier to pick and choose ur opponents.

You do realize that Floyd has been considered as the best boxer on the planet for many years right? WHy wouldn't he be favored? Some common sense please.
