Sure, if the two people were even equal. But they aren't since one guy had already locked up the HOF by the time he was 24, and is considered an ATG if not the GOAT at 130. Or are you going to try to argue Cotto getting his knocked out by Pacquiao and Margarito surpass Mayweather's SFW resume.

Im not hating on Cotto - Floyd has done a number on most of his big named high ranking opponents Cotto hasn't im afraid.

 

Marquez and Mosley aren't really that good of wins wen put into context.

 

Cotto bought tougher fighters as he has a prime Margarito and a Prime Manny on his resume. Both better than anyone Floyd has ever fought.

But seen as though Cotto lost to both of those, I'd vote Floyd.
